A Young Maiden's Daybook. April 12, 2010

Today… April 12,20

Outside my window- I see the sun setting wonderful green grass and a green garden.

I am thinking- How many more things I have to do this evening! (Reading , writing, planning, cleaning etc. )

I am thankful for- The privilege of teaching children about the Lord.

I am wearing- A brown shirt, blue and white skirt, socks and some flats.

I am reading- The books that I have written. A number of Lamplighter books and the book Shape by Erik Rees.

I am creating- Some handmade cards.

One of my favorite things- Strawberries and oranges.

For education this week- Finishing up my homework for the year.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning - Washing clothes.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning- Trusting the Lord and looking for his plan for my life.

A godly character trait I plan to work on- Unselfishness.

Scripture I am memorizing-

~Colossians 3:2- Set your mind on the things above, not on on the things that are on earth.
I am praying for- My family and the children that I teach.

For the rest of the week- I plan on doing some writing, sewing , cleaning, homework etc.
