I hope you have been having a wonderful summer.
I have had a GREAT summer.
As you know if you have read my latest posts) I have been teaching with
an organization called Child Evangelism Fellowship. And we have seen God
work in some wonderful ways in the lives of children.......
Here is a testimony from when I taught this summer. We were teaching at Loma Vista daycare and I was able to council a boy named Makenny. He had already accepted Jesus as his Savor and I think that mostly he just needed assurance of what Jesus had done for him. So I started to talk to him but I found it very hard to explain to him the verses that we use to council for salvation. He just seemed very confused. Finally after talking to for quite awhile I was able to see he was understanding and finding assurance from God's Word.
The next day as we were getting ready to start club he came up to me with his Bible and started to show me all that he was reading!!! It was such a great feeling. The sad thing was I started to think ' who is going to teach Makenny when I am gone?' So I asked him if he could have his mom read his Bible with him and he told me his mom was in Colorado. (I'm not sure if his parents were divorced or what was going on, but that was the first thing that came to mind.) So after that I asked him if his dad could and he said that his dad was always on the computer.
As I was leaving club that day I was telling some of my team members about this and how I was worried that he would not be able to understand the Bible. Thankfully one of my team members reminded me that if he really wanted to understand God would help him.......
A lot of children are in this situation and unable to learn about God and how much he loves
them. They come from terrible backgrounds and need to know about God's love for them.
Anyway it was great to be able to teach these children about Jesus for five days.....
Here are some pictures of the kids I taught
at the daycare......
Here is Makenny the wonderful boy that
I was telling you about in my testimony......

These children are totally enraptured in what we are teaching. Aren't they adorable? :) The children in the front row are Nathanial Abbie and Lexi. (I have no trouble remembering Abbie and Nate's name because I have siblings by those names!)

Here I am teaching an enrapturing Missions Story! A lot of the time we had to cut out some of the content of the story because it was to intense for the kids.

I hope enjoyed this little peek into what God has been doing for children He wants to reach! God has really been doing some wonderful things this summer in the lives of these kids and I can't wait the see what he is going to do in the future.
Love and Prayers,
Hannah Blow
