What is the purpose of life?

Hello friends,


Wow I have had a busy week teaching. You may find yourself asking why I spend my summer teaching children instead of doing what I might find fun for a moment.......

In an interview with Paul Bradshaw, Rick Warren of Saddleback Church said:
"People ask me, 'What is the purpose of life?'
And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in heaven."

This is the reason that I am spending my summer spending my summer teaching instead of playing, because life is a preparation for eternity

When I finally see Jesus what will he say to me? I need to live my life for eternity. Also I spend my time teaching because when I think of all those children that have no way to know Jesus as their Savior it feels as if Jesus is calling me......

This is, I think one of my first clubs that I taught. In this picture I am teaching the Bible Lesson.....


This cool kid won the Children's Olympics in Greece this year!!!! (You can tell because of the crown of leaves!!!) OK once again I am just kidding. I think my friend Danielle (a member of the team I worked with) was having fun playing with him:) .


Here we are playing with the parachute. BOY do the kids love this part. We do it partly to get the kids to come to club and partly to have fun!!!!

Anyway these kids love to spend time learned about Jesus and playing games. They need to know that there is someone out there that cares. That is one reason to do what I have been doing!
