You may think that is a strange title for a blog post, but anyway there it is!
I enjoy making my own clothes. I have found many reasons I enjoy dressmaking.
1. You are able to decide what styles and colors you want to wear with more freedom.
(It is sometimes hard to find this at a store).
2. You are able to make clothes that fit your figure modestly and are not to revealing.
3. Also you are able to make styles that are more feminine then normal. (Like dresses from the 19th century. LOL . Those are the ones that I make mostly.)
4. You are able to learn how to sew. ( Take my word for it, it is good if you learn to sew before you are an adult.)
Anyway there are some of the reasons.
Now you can make more things then jest dresses but I believe that we are called by God to not be as the world is anymore but to be changed and therefore I have decided not to wear pants(I may wear them for exercising but that is all)
You may be able to find pants that are not to tight but I still think that God has called us to be feminine and not wear the things that men wear.
God made us women and we need to dress like women.

You asked about how I learned cake decorating. Most of it was by trial and error. Also my big sister used to make our birthday cakes for us and I have spent my time doing the same thing.
If you would like some good tips you might want to goggle 'cake decorating.' I have found some cute ideas that way.
