Dear friends,
In other words where do you go when you are upset. Do you go to books, friends, or something else.
The Bible tells us to go to God for refuge.
Consider this verse....
~Psalm 2:12-
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
~Psalm 2:13~
This verse tells us that we will be blessed if we take refuge in the Lord.
The Bible never tells us to take refuge in anything else.
Next time you are in trouble run to Jesus to take refuge.
Here are some ways that you can do that....
(1) - Pray to Him. This may seem like a very common thing but it is powerful!

Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(2)- Read His word. This is also very important.
Since He is the God of all comfort His words can also give you comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.....
Love and Prayers,

Thank you Hannah for posting this!
You are so right about taking refuge in others and not in God! We need to be consistently reminded to go to God for help and refuge and not humans or earthly treasures.
I hope you have a blessed day!

Dear Claire,
Thank you so much for commenting.
Yes it is important to take refuge in God.
That does not however mean that it is wrong to tell others when we are having a hard time. (Parents, etc.) I just meant that you should ultimately be taking refuge in God.
I hope you are having a wonderful day yourself.
Email me and tell me what you are doing today...

Hannah Elise...
I too have been going through the Psalms as part of my personal devotions and you're right - it is such a blessing. Thanks for sharing your meditation on this verse!
Forgive me for not replying to your e-mail yet. I've been quite busy, but I do hope to do it sometime in the near future!
