Wow I have had a very busy week.
All week long I have been teaching with an organization called Child Evangelism Fellowship. We work to tell young children and sometimes even adults about how they have sinned but Jesus can save them from their sins. (Rom 3:23, John 3:16)
This past week I have been (except Monday) leaving at about 7:50 A.m in order to get to our club and set up by 8:30.I helped to teach two other clubs one at 10:30 and the other at 3:30.
The clubs are so much fun for the kids to come to. (Not only the kids,I might add that I have seen adults that love the songs!) We start the clubs by playing some games to draw the kids to club. After that we sing some songs, learn memory verses, hear Bible stories and also missionary stories.
Oh and I can not forget the review game at the end. We spend that time reviewing what we have learned by playing fun games. That is, I hear the highlight of the club for most kids.
At the end of club we give them memory verse cards and if they can come back the next day and say that days memory verse they get a prize. (The kids LOVE that part.) Also we give them snacks.
A lot of the kids I have been teaching this past week have come from hurting families. (At least that is what I am guessing giving the places we are teaching at.) I have felt so special to be able to teach these children how much God loves them and also to show my love for them.
These children just really NEED to know how much God loves them even in this hurting world. Please pray for me as I continue to teach children about Jesus.
